Third Grade- On Tuesday, May 8th , the third grade class will present a program of hymns, worship songs, and Bible recitation to the Young at Heart Seniors ministry at Washington Heights Baptist Church and Quaker Heights Nursing Home. Thank you to Mrs. Greer for all her help as accompanist.

Grandparent’s Day - Just a reminder for grandparent’s to mark Friday, May 11th on their calendar and plan to attend. The event will run from 7:45 a.m. through the child’s lunch period. The day will begin in the Multipurpose room. Grandparents have been asked to RSVP by Friday, May 4th . If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Stephens at 513-932-6407, ext. 240.

Kindergarten Graduation Info

Graduation dress code:
Boys: White shirt, dark pants, dark shoes and socks (no tennis shoes, please)
Girls: White or pastel dress, white socks or tights, white shoes (no tennis shoes, please)

Right to Read Week - April 30th - May 4th
In celebration of literature and the joy of reading, RCS students will be enjoying a week of special activities and incentives to encourage everyone to read. Our theme this year is “Go buggy over books!” with a heavy emphasis on bugs.

What's happening...

All RCS students receive daily Bible teaching and attend Chapel services each Wednesday morning. Each student participates in Art, Music and Physical Education from specialized teachers - one period per week in each area for K5 students and two periods per week in grades 1st-6th. RCS uses A Beka textbooks in most core curriculum content areas. Accelerated Math, Accelerated Reading, and Accelerated Grammar and Spelling are also utilized to provide supplemental or remedial instruction.
