Lynda Kaiser
Mrs. Kaiser graduated in 1976 from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Music Education. She graduated in 1981 with a Master in Church Music from Golden Gate Theological Seminary. She has taught in four public schools and four Christian schools. This is her fifth year at Victory Christian. Welcome to Kindergarten! We sing, play, read, write, and learn life-long lessons for life. We watch caterpillars change into butterflies. We plant our own grass and watch it grow. But we do the most growing of all!

This is Mrs. Andrakowicz's second year at Victory, she has over 10 years experience teaching both elementary and junior high. Mrs. "A" as she is called, graduated from Calvin College with a BA in elementary education and a group minor in fine arts. She loves to use hands-on activities and illustrative stories to make her teaching meaningful in the lives of her students.

Mrs. Eaton has been in education for 25 years. Prior to coming to Victory 9 years ago, Mrs. Eaton taught in public schools. She has a BA in Education from Western Washington State University and a BS in Bible from Multnomah Bible College.
Mrs. Eaton's husband, the late Dr. Frank Eaton, was the Pastor of Worship at Arcade Church. Before coming to Arcade he taught Music for 30 years at Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon. They have two adult children, and two grandsons.
Mrs. Eaton expresses her love for beauty through gardening and collecting antiques. She expresses her love for the Lord's work by going on mission trips to such places as the Philippines, Germany, Japan, and India. This summer she has a trip planned to Romania where she will be teaching English as a second language. Mrs. Eaton expresses her love for her students by creating a wonderful atmosphere for learning using the things collected during her life's experiences. A favorite classroom verse which has become especially meaningful during the past year is Psalm 18:30, "As for God, His way is perfect."

Mrs. Cross has been teaching at Victory for five years. She attended Columbia Christian College and graduated from Sacramento State University in 1989. She received her BA in Liberal Studies and received a California Teaching Credential that is kept current. She taught for two years in the Roseville Unified School District. After staying home for a few years to have her family, she substituted for Sacramento City Unified School District and also worked with Visions in Education (a home schooling charter with San Juan Unified School District).
Mrs. Cross says, "Hello, and welcome to fourth grade! What a great year we will have learning all about California and its history. We will have various field trips that focus on our area's great historical features. We even get to experience a pioneer's life for an exciting overnight trip! Along with math, science, language, reading and history, we get to study God' amazing word and His promises. Come along for a year of fabulous fourth grade fun! 'Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.' II Timothy 2:15"

Miss Kwon graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a BA in Missions and a Minor in Music/Piano. She has taught English as a second language in Uijongbu, Korea for two years, taught five years in Sampan and in Guam. Miss Kwon has taught for Victory Christian School for two years, incorporating Missions with her teaching.
Some of the highlights of her sixth grade class are a study of Canada, (learning a song in French, playing hockey, and making waffles!); A written and oral report on a Country of their choice; and a week of Outdoor Education Camp at Mt. Gilead in the spring.
II Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. "My desire for my students is to show them the way of right Christian living through God's Word."

Karen Sawusch
To say that Mrs. Sawusch has been involved in Christian education all her life would not be much of an exaggeration. Her K-12 years were spent at Hazel Avenue Christian School, the site where our VCS Fair Oaks campus now sits. It was during Karen Sawusch's high school years that God showed her that He wanted her to teach.
Karen Sawusch completed her bachelor's degree at Christian Heritage College, and came back to the Sacramento area. After working in the public school system the Lord led her to VCS, where she taught 6th grade. At the end of her third year, her first child was born.
Stepping out of the classroom to be a "full-time mom" also provided Mrs. Sawusch with new opportunities to learn and grow. Tutoring, coaching, substituting, and going back to school for her master's degree were all things that the Lord allowed in her life during this time.
In the fall of 2002 the Lord brought Mrs. Sawusch back to Victory Christian. It has been a great joy for her to be here with her four children. God's mercies are new every morning…great is His faithfulness.

Mrs. Johnson has served at Victory for 18 years. She has taught in our self-contained sixth grade class and for the past six years in our Junior High program. Mrs. Johnson loves science. Each week the students do hands-on labs to bring God's creation to life! The eighth grade year is Earth Science.
Mrs. Johnson's passion is for her young people to walk with the Lord in a personal relationship. Philippians:3:8, "More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ."
Mrs. Johnson leads a weekly mom's Bible study. It is a joy to serve along side Christian families seeking to implement more of the word in their daily lives.
Mrs. Johnson was honored with the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year in 1996.
